Firstly a little overview of me. I am a research scientist by training, a holistic therapist and an amateur artist. Playing golf and walking whenever possible help me keep fit.
After studying physiology at university I went on to complete a doctorate in clinical pharmacology. This was followed by post doctoral research at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School Hammersmith Hospital. My research work was cut short by the arrival of three active sons in the space of five years. Caring for them was not compatible with a full time career and I retrained as an Inner Dialogue™ consultant.
My lifelong interest in nutrition and obesity led to the publication of A Good Start - healthy eating in the first five years (Penguin Health) and George's First Year (Peter Halban). Last year I completed my third book Can I Have Chips? fill up, lose weight, feel great (Matador).
I live in London.
